Police release pictures of shooting suspect

London police are hoping the public can help identify a suspect in a shooting that left two people in hospital.

On Monday, police released pictures of a man wanted in connection with the October 23 shooting in the area of Clarence Street and Dundas Street. Police were called to that area in the early morning hours that day to investigate reports of a shooting. While no victims were found at the scene, police were later told about two people who went to hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds. Their injuries were not life threatening.

The victims have since been released from hospital.

Anyone who recognizes and can identify the man in the photos is asked to call call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent in online anonymously to London Elgin Middlesex Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
