Four Londoners are among five people facing charges after police busted an illegal cannabis distribution network, seizing nearly $1 million worth of product and a sawed-off shotgun.
London police tipped the OPP-led Provincial Joint Forces Cannabis Enforcement Team about the network operating in southwestern Ontario in May. The investigation led officers to search three homes in London and one in Woodstock last Wednesday.
The raids turned up 110 kilograms of dried cannabis, five kilograms of cannabis resin, two kilograms of cannabis shatter, more than 4,500 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) vape pens, 170 vials of cannabis shatter, 280 THC bars, more than 5,000 THC gummies, 900 psilocybin gummies, 800 psilocybin bars, more than 1,000 pre-rolled cannabis cigarettes, 60 THC suckers, 55 millilitres cannabis oil, 16 ounces of cocaine, more than 100 suspected oxycodone pills, more than 200 suspected Percocet pills, and more than 150 suspected hydromorphone pills.
The estimated value of the drugs seized is $876,895, OPP said.

In addition to the drugs, officers also found a sawed-off shotgun with ammunition, two gold Rolex watches, three vehicles, and $1 million in cash.
Five people, four from London and one from Woodstock, were arrested and charged with 25 offences including possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and possession for the purpose of distributing.
The accused, who range in age from 28 to 55, have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear in London court in relation to the charges in January.
