Police seeking sexual assault suspect

London police are looking for a suspect after a woman was sexually assaulted in the northeast end of the city.

According to police, the woman was walking on a pathway just north of Bridle Path around 10:45 p.m. on Monday, December 5. A man approached her, pushed her to the ground, and touched her in an inappropriate manner.

Police say he then ran from the scene.

"The victim did not sustain any physical injuries," police said.

The suspect is described as a male, with a slim build, approximately 5’10”, wearing black clothing and a black toque.

Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent in online anonymously to London Elgin Middlesex Crime Stoppers.
