Fewer Londoners are satisfied with the way the city is being run.
The annual City of London resident satisfaction survey results were presented to councillors this week, and they showed a slight decline in the number of Londoners happy with city services, and a major increase in the number concerned about poverty in the community.
Seventy-seven per cent of Londoners said they're at least satisfied with city services, down from 82 per cent a year ago.
Sixteen per cent of Londoners said they were very satisfied, while 21 per cent said they weren't satisfied at all.
Perhaps the most stark change was in the number of Londoners who identified homelessness as a primary concern. The 2022 survey had that number at 44 per cent, up from 27 per cent in 2021.
The issue that ranked second was transportation, identified as a significant concern by 30 per cent of Londoners, a relatively steady number from a year ago.
The service that Londoners were most satisfied with was the public library system, which garnered a 95 per cent approval rating.
The survey was conducted by Forum Research between September 23 and October 1. They got responses from 500 people.
