At around midnight on Monday, officers reportedly stopped a vehicle containing three people in the area of Blossom Park Road and Devonshire Avenue.

General patrol officers and members of the Criminal Intelligence and Drug Enforcement Unit arrived, and an investigation led to the seizure of approximately $47,590 worth of suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine and hydromorphone, along with $4,145 in Canadian cash and a crossbow.

The trio, two women and a man between the ages of 31-41, were placed under arrest and are jointly charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, several counts of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, among other offences.
