In the days following the murder of OPP Constable Grzegorz (Greg) Pierzchala, there was significant reaction from the public.

Politicians and some police officers called for changes to be made to the bail system in Canada - as the two accused in the case were both known to police before the murders.

However, those calls me be misguided according to some lawyers.
