One person dead, four others injured in south London crash

One person has died and four others remain in hospital after a serious crash near Lambeth.

Emergency crews were called to a two-vehicle crash on Bostwick Road between Southdale and Wharncliffe roads around 7:20 p.m. on Wednesday.

All five people from the two vehicles involved were taken to hospital with injuries ranging from serious to life-threatening.

On Thursday morning, London police confirmed one of the drivers had since died from their injuries in hospital.

The collision, which kept a section of Bostwick closed for several hours, is being investigated by the police traffic management unit.

Police are asking anyone with information about the crash to call them at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
