Police look for missing London woman

London police are searching for a 48-year-old woman who has been missing for nearly one week.

On Thursday, the London Police Service tweeted a photograph and physical description of the woman asking the public for assistance in their search.

Police say Heather Heerema, who is also known as Heather Calver, is 5'8" tall and 170 lbs with a slim build. The woman has medium length wavy blond hair and brown eyes.

Heerema was last seen on Friday, January 27 in the area of Oxford Street West and Cherryhill Boulevard, according to police. She was reported missing on Tuesday.

Both family and police say they are concerned for the woman's welfare.

Anyone with information about Heerema's whereabouts is asked to call London police at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
