London woman wins $100K with Encore

A lucky London woman will get to take the vacation of her dreams after winning $100,000 on a Lotto Max ticket last month.

Anna Murray said yes to Encore when she purchased her ticket in the January 6, 2023 Lotto Max draw and managed to match the last six of seven numbers in the exact order to secure her six-figure win.

Murray shared that she only plays the lottery "once in a blue moon" and when she does, she always agrees to add Encore numbers. She added that she checked her ticket several times in disbelief upon discovering she'd won such a large prize.

"After the third time I started believing it was real," said Murray.

When asked what she plans to do with her winnings, Murray said she plans to go on a trip with her husband.

"It’s wonderful. I’d love to take a fun trip to Disney with my husband, who is a child at heart," Murray explained.

The winning ticket was picked up at the Petro Canada location on 400 Southdale Road West in London.
