Update: missing children found safe

London police say two children who were reported missing on Thursday have been found and are safe.

According to police, a nine-year-old girl and 10-year-old boy were last seen together Thursday evening around 7:10 p.m. in the area Trafalgar and Dillabough streets. Officers say they were seen going into the wooded area near South Branch Park.

A few hours after they were reported missing, the two were located.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
