'It feels awesome': Auto worker $50K richer after Instant Crossword

A London man is celebrating a big win after scoring $50,000 with OLG's Instant Crossword.

Dean Densmore, 63, is employed in the automotive industry. He has played the lottery for decades, but says Instant Crossword is his game of choice.

"I picked up a couple of tickets and sat in my car one morning while scratching them and enjoying my coffee. I was so shocked to see I revealed so many words," Densmore explained.

The winning ticket was purchased at Petro Canada on Wellington Road in London.

"I knew my wife had to be sitting down when I told her the news. She was so happy for me and excited to tell the kids," Densmore added.

With his winnings, Densmore plans to buy himself a new truck and invest in some home renovations. He will treat his wife to a shopping spree, as well.

A portion of the prize fund will go to his children and another toward spoiling his grandson, according to Densmore.

"This doesn't feel real at all. It feels awesome," the winner concluded while picking up his cheque at the OLG Prize Centre.
