One man seriously hurt, another charged in east end stabbing

A dispute between two men inside of an east London home ended with one stabbed and the other in handcuffs.

London police were called to the home on Hamilton Road shortly after 12 a.m. on Saturday. Police determined two men had got into an argument, which led to one stabbing the other.

The wounded man was taken to hospital with what were considered life-threatening injuries. He has since been discharged from hospital, police said.

A 28-year-old man was arrested at the scene. He has been charged with aggravated assault and was scheduled to appear in court on Monday.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
