UPDATE: Missing man found by London police

A 76-year-old London man who was reported missing on Wednesday afternoon has been found safe.

The man had last been seen in the area of Bernard Avenue and Richmond Street late Wednesday morning around 11:30 a.m.

There was a heavy police presence in north London as officers searched for the elderly man. Authorities said a Remotely Piloted Aircraft System, otherwise known as a drone, was used to assist in the investigation.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
