Man charged in south London robbery

Threats were made, but no one was hurt in a robbery in south London.

It was just before 3 p.m. on Tuesday, when a man walked into a business in the area of Meg Drive and Exeter Road and began stealing property. The man allegedly threatened employees before taking off.

London police were called and arrested a suspect nearby.

Stolen property was also recovered and no injuries were reported, police said.

As the investigation progressed, police discovered the suspect was wanted in relation to outstanding warrants.

A 34-year-old London man has been charged with robbery and failure to comply with a release order. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
