$24K piece of roofing equipment stolen

Police in St. Thomas are looking for an expensive piece of roofing equipment that was stolen from a construction site in the city.

The black and yellow metal roof seamer, along with construction accessories, vanished from the site on St. Catherine Street sometime between last Friday and Monday.

The equipment is valued at over $24,000, St. Thomas police said.

The investigation into the theft is ongoing.
