One person sent to hospital after crash in Wortley Village

Police are investigating a multi-vehicle collision in Wortley Village involving two cars and a motorcycle.

The crash happened Saturday afternoon around 3:40 p.m., police said, at the intersection of Tecumseh Avenue East and Cathcart Street. Officers shut down the area as emergency crews responded to the scene.

A number of people were involved in the crash, but no serious injuries have been reported. Police said a man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The occupants of the other vehicles, including two children, were not injured.

Police said the investigation is in its early stages.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
