One injured in 402 crash

One person was taken to hospital after a crash on Highway 402 near Strathroy Tuesday afternoon.

According to Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), at around 3 p.m., officers responded to a single-vehicle crash involving an SUV on the westbound side of the 402 near Olde Drive between Mount Brydges and Strathroy.

Police say one individual was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

As a result, the westbound lanes of the 402 were closed at Glendon Drive while crews worked to clear the scene. They re-opened around 4 p.m.
