One in hospital, two arrested after early morning stabbing near Wortley

A stabbing early Wednesday has left a London man in hospital and two other men in police custody.

London police were called about a possible stabbing on Emery Street, east of Edward Street around 3:40 a.m. on Wednesday. Officers arrived to find a man suffering from apparent stab wounds.

He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.

Two men were arrested nearby, but charges have yet to be laid.

Investigators do not believe this was a random incident, police said.

The major crime section has taken over the investigation, which is still in its early stages.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
