London's GO trains a no-go as of this fall

London's GO Train service to Toronto will end in October.

The service originally launched in 2021 as an arrangement between Metrolinx, CN, and VIA Rail Canada. The agreement allowed the Metrolinx owned trains to operate on the established tracks and use existing stations.

The company announced, on social media Friday, that they will no longer have access to that infrastructure as of October 13, 2023.

The trip from London to Toronto was scheduled early in the morning on weekdays, with a return trip in the evening, and lasted approximately four hours.
