Police probing bullet holes found in east end home, vehicle

Investigators are appealing to the public for more information after officers found bullet holes at a property located in east London.

London police say they were contacted last Tuesday, by a citizen who noticed the holes in a house and truck located on Winnipeg Boulevard, between Dundas and Wavell streets.

When police arrived, they found evidence that a firearm had been discharged.

“Through the course of the investigation, police determined that the shooting may have taken place on Saturday, June 24, 2023,” read a release from London police officials.

No injuries have been reported.

The case has since been assigned to the London Police Service’s Guns and Gangs Section.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
