One person injured following disturbance

Two teenagers are facing assault and weapons charges following a disturbance in the east end of the city.

London police responded to a call just after 9:30 on Wednesday morning. When officers arrived to the area of Clarke Road and Oxford Street East they found a person they believe to have been assaulted.

Two suspects, aged 17 and 19, ran from the area, but were located and arrested a short distance away.

The suspects and injured person were known to each other.

The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital by paramedics, police said.

The 17-year-old male is scheduled to appear in London court on Monday, August 21, and the 19-year-old male is scheduled to appear in London court on Wednesday, August 23 in relation to the charges.
