More child pornography charges laid against Woodstock woman

A Woodstock woman has been charged again relating to an ongoing child pornography investigation.

On Tuesday, Woodstock police announced that more charges have been laid against 31-year-old Grace Rodrigues.

Rodrigues is charged with several offences including, luring a person under 14-years-old, sexual assault on a person under 16-years-old, sexual interference, administering a noxious thing, invitation to sexual touching under 16 years of age, making sexually explicit material available to someone under 14, and failing to comply with a release order.

The accused was taken back into police custody with a future date.

This is the third time the accused has been taken into police custody relating to a continued probe that launched earlier this year.

In April, Rodrigues, was arrested twice and charged with one count each of making and possessing child pornography.

According to a report by the London Free Press, Rodrigues is a former youth worker who was previously convicted for having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old she met at a London detention centre.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
