One arrested, one wanted after fight in downtown St. Thomas

St. Thomas police are looking for a 38-year-old woman after an incident in the downtown core.

On Friday, police were notified of a disturbance between a man and a woman, who investigators learned were once in a relationship.

According to police, an argument had turned into a physical fight which included both parties using improvised weapons against each other.

"The entirety of the incident was captured on video," police said. The video allowed police to "form grounds to charge both parties."

On Saturday, a 48-year-old male was located and arrested. During his arrest officers searched the suspect and reportedly found that he was in possession of drugs. The man is facing two drug possession charges as well as assault with a weapon and disobeying a court order.

The 38-year-old woman is wanted by St. Thomas police. She faces one count of assault with a weapon.
