Wanted 'potentially dangerous' Malahide man found

Provincial police say a Malahide man considered to be 'potentially dangerous' was found in London.

Christopher George was considered to be "unlawfully at large" in the community after he failed to attend a designated location last Thursday.

The 42-year-old's disappearance prompted Elgin OPP to issue an appeal to the public for information on his whereabouts on Wednesday. At the time, police advised the public not to approach George, describing him as potentially dangerous.

Hours after the public appeal, George was located in London with the help of local police. He was then returned to the unnamed designated location without incident

Police have thanked the public for their assistance with the investigation.
