An investigation launched by the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children has led to charges against a London man.

In late August, the London Police Service's Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit was alerted to some images uploaded to social media that investigators deemed to be "concerning."

On Thursday, the ICE unit executed a warrant at a home on Meadowgate Boulevard near the intersection of Highbury Avenue and Commissioners Road.

Police say they seized electronic devices which contained suspected child pornography.

A 23-year-old London man has been charged with unlawfully possessing child pornography, import/sell/distribute etc. child pornography, and print/publish/possess to publish child pornography.

The man is scheduled to appear in court next month.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
