No injuries following apartment fire

The London Fire Department (LFD) responded to an apartment fire in the northeast of the city.

The fire was quickly extinguished around 9:30 a.m. on Sunday and the scene was cleared by 1 p.m.

The fire department reported that there were no injuries due to the incident, but that the McNay Street building was filled with smoke.

There is no cause or damage estimate available at this time.
