Sarah Jama has been booted from the Ontario NDP caucus.

The recently elected Hamilton MPP was removed from the caucus following her controversial statements on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and issuing a letter indicating she may sue Doug Ford.

Some Ontario NDP members are furious and the party is in disarray.

Journalist Erica Ifill joins Craig to share her thoughts on how leader Marit Stiles handled what happened and what the next steps for the party might be - both provincially and federally.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
