Shots fired at parked vehicle in Dutton-Dunwich

Provincial police are investigating after a vehicle parked in a driveway outside a Dutton-Dunwich home was hit by gunfire.

Elgin OPP were called to the property on Marsh Line around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Officers determined that the vehicle had been shot at around 3:10 a.m. The unknown suspects took off from the scene immediately after.

No one was inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting and no injuries were reported.

"The investigation is still ongoing and there is believed to be no threat to public safety," police said.
