18-year-old killed in Mount Brydges crash

A two-vehicle crash in Mount Brydges has claimed the life of an 18-year-old.

Emergency crews were called to Adelaide Road at Christina Road after the vehicles collided on Saturday morning.

According to Strathroy-Caradoc police, both vehicles caught on fire.

The 18-year-old driver of the one vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. That individual's name has not been released.

The other driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Adelaide and Christina roads, as well as Inadale Drive and Olde Drive, were closed for several hours while police investigated the cause of the collision. All roads have since been reopened.
