Sanitary, storm sewer work temporarily closing part of Dundas St.

A section of a major artery in east London is closing for five days.

Starting Thursday, Dundas Street between Highbury Avenue North and Hale Street will be closed for the installation of sanitary and storm sewers at a nearby property.

Detour signs have been erected directing drivers around the work using Highbury Avenue, Trafalgar Street ,and Hale Street. As some sidewalk restrictions may be required while the work takes place, pedestrians are being encouraged to use neighbouring streets to get to their destination.

Access to businesses in the area will be maintained while the work is underway.

Dundas is expected to reopen on Tuesday.
