Search on for missing Tillsonburg senior

Provincial police in Oxford County are asking for the public's help finding a 72-year-old woman who has been missing since Wednesday morning.

Lola, whose last name was not provided, was last seen leaving her home on Huntley Avenue in Tillsonburg around 8:20 a.m. She was reported missing to police shortly after.

Oxford OPP, along with officers from OPP canine services, OPP emergency response team, and members of the London search and rescue team are all actively searching for Lola.

She is described as Black, approximately 5'1", 145 lbs, with a medium build, medium length curly dark hair, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a burgundy hat, green puffer jacket, blue jeans, and was carrying a purse and bag.

Police are asking residents and businesses in the area to check their properties, outbuildings, and video surveillance systems for any sign of Lola. Both family and police are concerned for her safety.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call police at 1-888-310-1122.
