Section of Gore Road closed until Thursday

Drivers in east London will have to navigate around another road closure for the next three days.

Starting Tuesday, Gore Road between Clarke Road and Veterans Memorial Parkway will be closed. According to the City of London, the closure is to facilitate private site servicing for a nearby property.

While the work is completed, drivers will be detoured using Clarke Road, Trafalgar Street, Commissioners Road East, Hamilton Road and Veterans Memorial Parkway.

Sidewalk restrictions may also be required while crews are on site. Pedestrians are encouraged to use nearby streets to reach their destinations.

The road is expected to reopen by 5 p.m. on Thursday.
