Just after 5 p.m. on Wednesday fire officials posted to social media that crews were attending a large fire in the area of Adelaide Street South and Royce Court.
By 5:30 p.m. the fire department announced that most of the fire had been knocked down and that crews were addressing hot spots.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
