Two charged in Fentanyl bust

London police say two men are facing charges after officers seized thousands of dollars worth of suspected fentanyl.

Just before 11 p.m. Thursday, officers with the Guns and Gangs Section and the Emergency Response Unit searched a home on Dundas Street near Egerton Street. They seized 36 grams of suspected fentanyl that police say is worth $7,200.

One suspect was arrested after running from a vehicle in the area of Clarke Road and Dundas Street.

A 39-year-old London man is charged with one count of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking. A 24-year-old London man is charged with failing to comply with a release order and resisting arrest.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
