Crash near Tillsonburg leaves one dead

Provincial police say one person is dead after a collision near Tillsonburg.

According to the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police, an SUV and a pick-up truck collided on Plank Line near Keswick Road around 7:10 p.m. Thursday.

Police say the driver of the SUV, a 76-year-old from Mount Elgin, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pick-up was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Plank Line was closed in the area for several hours, but later re-opened.
