Human remains found in Oxford County

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating the discovery of human remains.

On Friday, police received the report of a body found near Plank Line and Airport Road in South-West Oxford Township.

There will be an increased police presence in the area while the investigation continues.

Members of Oxford OPP, the West Region OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS), Fire Services from Brownsville, and Oxford County Paramedic Services are assisting with the investigation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
