Four suspects sought in assault of St. Thomas man

St. Thomas police believe a man assaulted in the east-end of the city was targeted.

The man was walking along a set of old train tracks on Wednesday night when he was attacked by four people.

No serious injuries were reported.

The man was unable to identify any of his attackers, however, following the initial investigation it was determined the assault was not random, police said.

Investigators are currently reviewing video from the area in an effort to identify the people involved in the incident.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
