Suspect sought in Delhi break-in

Provincial police are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect in a weekend break and enter in Norfolk County.

OPP were called about the incident at a home on Church Street East in Delhi around 11 p.m. on Friday. Officers determined that a man had broken into the home and took an undisclosed quantity of cash before he was confronted by the homeowner.

The robber got away before police arrived.

Police describe the man as 5'7'' to 5'8'' and roughly 130 lbs. He was wearing a black tracksuit. A photo of the suspect has not been released.

"OPP Norfolk County Detachment members are actively conducting an ongoing investigation and are appealing to the public for assistance," OPP said.

Anyone with information about this break-in or the suspect is asked to call police at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
