London police seek tips in north-end arson

London police are asking the public for help in their investigation of an arson fire last week.

Shortly after 3 a.m. on Wednesday, January 3, officers responded to a call for help on Thurman Circle. A person reported that their vehicle was on fire.

No one was hurt.

Following a canvass, police obtained surveillance camera footage of two possible suspects.

The first was dressed in all black clothing. The second was wearing a dark jacket or hoodie, light-coloured pants, and carrying what appeared to be a gas can.

Anyone who was area of the fire who could identify the suspects or provide additional video footage should call London police at (519) 661-5670. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
