High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

Elgin County OPP is asking for the public's help identifying a man who broke into several Port Stanley homes last week.According to police, in the early hours of February 13, the unknown individual entered two residences on Edith Cavell Boulevard and stole several items from both the properties.Police say the estimated value of the stolen items is over $10,000.The suspect also attempted to enter a residence on Erie Street.OPP say the man is described as wearing a black balaclava, dark coloured hoodie, grey Puma sweatpants and dark shoes.<img src="https://media.mynewstoday.ca/i/x9lywQqB/740" alt />Elgin County OPP is asking for help identifying this suspect who robbed several Port Stanley homes February 13.
