The driver of a school bus that rolled onto its side while carrying dozens of students south of Woodstock Tuesday morning is facing charges.
Emergency crews were called to the single-vehicle collision on Dodge Line at Cuthbert Road in South-West Oxford just after 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
Forty students were on board the bus at the time of the crash.
One student, who was temporarily pinned under the bus, was airlifted to London hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Four other students were taken to Woodstock hospital by land ambulance for treatment of minor injuries.
The 34 year-old bus driver, a resident of Oxford County, is charged with careless driving causing bodily harm, Oxford OPP said.
The accused is scheduled to appear at in Woodstock court on April 18, 2024.
