St. Thomas resident arrested following weapons call

Police in St. Thomas have arrested a 38-year-old resident after a weapons call that was later proven false.

Officers responded to the call early Monday evening in the area of Ross Street and Locust Street. It was closed off to ensure the safety of residents.

St. Thomas police investigated and cleared the area, determining that the initial report was not factual.

The resident was arrested on outstanding warrants.
