UPDATE: Single-vehicle crash sends one to hospital

One person was taken to hospital following a serious crash in North Middlesex.

Middlesex Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said that the driver was the only individual in the vehicle and that their injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening.

Emergency crews responded to McGillivray Drive between Lieury Road and Creamery Road at about 8:15 p.m. on Friday. The area was closed to traffic for several hours for the safety of the emergency responders and to allow police to investigate but has since re-opened.

The investigation is ongoing.
