The London Fire Department is reminding residents to not leave cooking unattended.
Fire crews were called to a fire at an apartment on Jacksway Crescent Friday evening.
When firefighters arrived they found a pot on the stove and no one was home.
Information on damage and the cost estimate were not immediately available.
"It's only Good Friday of the Easter long weekend and we've already been invited for a very burnt dinner of unattended cooking," the fire department said in a social media post.
