Knights to play Rangers in second round of OHL playoffs

For a third consecutive season, the London Knights and Kitchener Rangers will be facing off in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) playoffs.

While the Knights advanced to the second round last Thursday after sweeping the Flint Firebirds in four games, they had to wait until this week to find out who their next opponent would be.

The Western Conference semi-final series match was set Tuesday night when the Rangers knocked Erie out of the first round with a 4-3 Game 6 win.

Round 2 is now slated to begin on Thursday at Budweiser Gardens. The final block of tickets for the series go on sale at Budweiser Gardens at 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
