Flower shop damaged in downtown collision

Flower's Story, a flower shop on Richmond Row suffered damage Tuesday morning when a vehicle crashed into the building.

Employees of the shop didn't witness the collision, as they were in the back room at the time, but both women said they heard it.

"It sounded like the shelves fell over and all of the candles fell off," one of the workers said. The other employee said she thought it sounded like someone trying to kick in the window, something she admitted had happened at the shop recently.

"We just came out and the car was there," the shop employee said, pointing at the window.

No injuries were reported.

Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
