Man charged after east London store robbed at knifepoint

Charges have been laid after a masked man, armed with a knife, robbed an east London store.

According to London police, the incident began when a man walked into the business in the area of Hamilton Road and Highbury Avenue around 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday. He then covered his face with a ski mask and pulled out a knife before demanding money and cigarettes. The man ran from the store with an undisclosed quantity of items.
