Two people injured in Zorra Township crash

A Friday morning collision in Oxford County sent two people to hospital.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) joined Oxford County firefighters and paramedics in responding to Road 74 and the 37th Line in Zorra Township at around 8:45 a.m.

When they arrived, they found a tractor-trailer had collided with a passenger vehicle.

Both occupants of the passenger vehicle were rushed to a local hospital. The passenger was in stable condition Friday evening, but the driver suffered life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was not hurt.

The section of the 37th Line between Road 68 and Road 74 was closed for several hours to allow investigators to clear the area and complete their investigation. It has since re-opened.

The investigation is ongoing.
