$100K in wiring stolen from St. Thomas business

St. Thomas police are looking for the thieves who made off with $100,000 worth of wiring from a local business.

Thieves broke into the locked, outdoor compound in the city's industrial area sometime over the weekend. The incident was reported to police on Monday.

Investigators determined the thieves cut a fence to gain access to the property and then proceeded to remove the wiring.

Surveillance video from the area is being reviewed to help identify those involved.

The investigation is ongoing, police said on Tuesday.
