ABCF giving $1,000 to one lucky student

The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Foundation (ABCF) is giving a $1,000 Student Environmental Grant to a local student who is interested in the environment.

The successful applicant must be entering or enrolled in post-secondary studies related to the environment and conservation.

The student also must be between the ages of 17 and 25 and a resident of one of the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority's watershed areas. That includes Adelaide Metcalfe, Bluewater, Central Huron, Huron East, Lambton Shores, Lucan Biddulph, Middlesex Centre, North Middlesex, Perth South, South Huron, Warwick, and West Perth.

"We are honoured to provide this financial support to help a local student in their studies," said Dave Frayne, ABCF Chair. "We encourage eligible young people to apply."

Applications must be submitted by May 31 at 4:30 p.m. The application form can be found here.
